DESCRIPTION:Talk Overview: \nAt Jane Street\, we rely heavily on inter-pro
 cess communication and real-time message passing to drive many of our most
  critical systems\, but how do you maintain consistency and reliability as
  those systems grow?\n\nIn this tech talk\, Matt Else explains how transac
 tion logs\, state machine replication and control-flow inversions help to 
 bring cohesion and regularity to a system\, and how Jane Street has used A
 ria to scale it’s trading Infrastructure.\n\nSpeaker Bio:\nMatt Else is 
 a Software Engineer at Jane Street in London\, where has been working sinc
 e 2019. Before joining Jane Street\, he studied Computer Science at King
 ’s College\, Cambridge. In addition to the Software Engineering side of 
 his role\, he is also heavily involved in organizing our Software Engineer
 ing internship programme\, which he went through himself in the summer of
