DESCRIPTION:Johannes Zang (b. 1964) is a musician\, author and freelance j
 ournalist who has lived in the Middle East for the past 25 years.  In 2007
 \, he published the book: "Different Truth: Stories Told from Israel and P
 alestine\," a book written to tell stories "that didn't interest the newsp
 apers."\n\nJohannes first lived in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Ter
 ritories from 1985-1987\, when he volunteered in an Israeli Kibbutz and a 
 Tel Aviv nursing home.  From 1999 to 2003 the Vienna-trained music therapi
 st taught music theory as well as individual classes in piano\, organ and 
 guitar to Palestinian children\, youth and adults in Bethlehem. He was als
 o the conductor of two choirs and organized concerts at the International 
 Center of Bethlehem. During this time he was co-author of an open letter t
 o then German Minister of Foreign Affairs Joschka Fischer -- a letter that
  attracted a lot of attention and interest from the German community.  Fro
 m 2005 to 2008 Johannes Zang lived with his wife Janina at St. George´s C
