 Proust in November 1922. This event in Cambridge is part of a series of in
 ternational commemorations of Proust’s life and work this year. Editor o
 f the Penguin Proust translation\, author of Proust the Sceptic: Miracles 
 and Mad Beliefs (2013)\, Christopher Prendergast has this year published L
 iving and Dying with Marcel Proust (2022)\, described by Edmund White\, in
  The New York Times as ‘a splendid new book’. This is a rare chance to
  hear Christopher Prendergast FBA\, Professor of French\, talk about Prous
 t in Cambridge.
