DESCRIPTION:If you could erase someone from your mind\, would you? Is it p
resently even possible to do this? When first released\, Michel Gondry and
  Charlie Kaufman's critically-acclaimed 2004 film\, "Eternal Sunshine of t
he Spotless Mind"\, sparked popular interest in memory reconsolidation and
its applications. It also raised questions on how neuropsychiatry could p
otentially change the way we view ourselves and our minds. Dr Amy Milton f
rom the Department of Experimental Psychology and Behavioural & Clinical N
euroscience Institute\, University of Cambridge will be discussing her res
earch interests in this area. Her brief talk will be followed by the scree
ning of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". An informal Q&A session w
ill be held after the event\, over refreshments.\n\nWe look forward to wel
 coming you!\n
