DESCRIPTION:The discovery of the Higgs boson particle ignited a new era of
exploration in fundamental physics. Recent experimental observations and
theoretical advancements indicate the Standard Model description is insuff
icient\, so where is the new physics? \n\nPrecision measurements of all Hi
ggs properties are a key way to search for hints of new physics\, given it
s central role in the Standard Model. This talk will review Higgs boson pr
operty measurements achieved with the Run 2 dataset recorded by the ATLAS
detector between 2015 and 2018. \n\nThe five times increase in data since
Run 1 has provided access to rarer processes\, as well as the measurement
of previously unexplored kinematic regions. If new physics is present at h
igher energies than currently accessible with the LHC\, slight deviations
in the measured cross-sections could already appear in the high-pT region.
Cross-section measurements in this regime have been undertaken and will a
lso be presented in this talk.
