DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a talk by Sandy Campbell on the decolonizat
 ion of metadata\, descriptive cataloguing\, archival description\, classif
 ication systems\, subject headings\, and other terminology used by librari
 es and archives. Sandy has been instrumental in establishing the Universit
 y of the Arctic’s DALAM thematic network on decolonizing library metadat
 a. This network serves as a community of practice for librarians\, archivi
 sts and information professionals in the Arctic who work in this area. San
 dy’s talk will also outline what decolonisation means in the Canadian co
