DESCRIPTION:We present analyses concerning the systemic behaviour under an
idealised noise and terrain obstacle model. We first show that mobility d
oes not necessarily imporve network performance but actually trade volatil
ity and performance. We then give general systemic behaviour due to stocha
stic geometry results and conditions to recover connectivity and hedge aga
inst volatility. Last\, we discuss the topological implication over time i
n the presence of obstacles.\n\nIt is our belief that given understanding
of the general behaviour\, we can then design probabilistic streaming algo
rithms which handles uncertainty and incomplete information with at guaran
tees. Inputs from stream database\, multi-sensory fusion\, and networking
 people are highly appreciated.
