DESCRIPTION:Prof. Sudeshna Guha will begin the South Asia: Women in the Fi
 eld network series\, sharing some observations from her long and distingui
 shed career in histories of visualisation and social histories of archaeol
 ogy\, cultural heritage\, museums and collecting practices.\n\nIN PERSON\,

 rent disciplines\, from undergraduates to senior researchers\, with shared
  experiences in conducting fieldwork (or attempting to) in South Asia.\n\n
 From entrenched cultural norms to the lack of available networking or supp
 ort\, we will explore the many challenges we face as women in disciplines 
 where primary data collection is key.
