DESCRIPTION:I intend to describe the global asymptotic results&nbsp\; conc
 erning the Painlev\\'e transcendents that can be obtained via the Riemann-
 Hilbert/Isomonodromy method. These include explicit connection formulae\, 
 quasi-linear and nonlinear Stokes phenomena\, distribution of poles. This 
 is an extended version of the online talk I gave in the first part of the 
 program in&nbsp\; the Spring of 2021. Among the added new material I am pl
 anning to discuss the recent results concerning the connection formulae fo
 r the Painleve tau functions.
