DESCRIPTION:\nA gas of bosons can undergo Bose-Einstein condensation even
at relatively\nhigh temperatures\, if the flow rate of energy\, pumped int
o the system\, is\nhigh enough. Following this approach we investigated at
room temperature\nmagnons in an yttrium iron garnet film\, which are driv
en by microwave\npumping. We show that for low pumping powers a quasi-equi
librium magnon\ndistribution described by the Bose-Einstein statistics wit
h a non-zero\nchemical potential is formed. For higher pumping powers we o
bserved\nBose-Einstein condensation of magnons and detected a spontaneous
emergence\nof coherence in the condensate. We studied the kinetics of pump
ed magnons\nwith simultaneous resolution with respect to the wave vectors
and\nfrequencies\, as well as processes of magnon thermalization leading t
 o the\ncondensation.
