DESCRIPTION:ABUSEITOV KAIRAT KHUATOVICH - born in 1955\, he graduated from
  Kazakhstan State University\, History Department. Worked as a teacher in 
 Semipalatinsk Pedagogical Institute. Graduated from Moscow State Universit
 y with PhD in Historical Sciences. He was Deputy Dean of Kazakhstan State 
 University and assistant professor of World Policy and International Affai
 rs department of Almati Political Sciences and Management Institute. In 19
 92-1993 he was program leader on foreign policy and national security of S
 trategic research Centre at Kazakhstan Management\, Economy\, Forecast Ins
 titute under President of Kazakhstan.\n\nSince 1993 he has been in the ser
 vice of Kazakhstan Republic Foreign Affairs Ministry. During 1996-1998 he 
 was Adviser in the Embassy of Kazakhstan to the US. From 1998 to 1999 he s
 erved as the Director of First Department and the Director of Multi-Latera
 l Cooperation Department.\n\nHis last posting before London was as Ambassa
 dor of Kazakhstan to Switzerland. He was the First Deputy Minister of Fore
 ign Affairs before his Ambassadorships.
