DESCRIPTION:A new class of orthogonal polynomials are considered from a fo
 rmal approach: a family of two-variable orthogonal polynomials related thr
 ough an elliptic curve. The formal approach means we are interested in tho
 se relations that can be derived\, without specifying a weight function. \
 n\nUsing generalized Sylvester identities\, recurrence relations and bilin
 ear relations between the recurrence coefficients are derived. These bilin
 ear relations are shown to integrable in the sense that they have Lax pair
 s.\n
