DESCRIPTION:In this talk I will outline some approaches using surveillance
  data from varying spatial scales to study underlying dynamics of transmis
 sion of Covid-19 in the UK. In particular this will be used to estimate re
 lative transmissibility of emerging variants of concern\, as well as nowca
 sting current states of pandemic from noisy multivariate time series.
