 s for\, London Structures Lab\, is incorporating steel reuse and dowel lam
 inated timber (DLT) to reduce the embodied carbon of their structural engi
 neering projects.\n\nAlly is a chartered structural engineer currently wor
 king as associate at London Structures Lab\, before which he was a senior 
 engineer at AKTII. He is also a member of the iStructE Structural Futures 
 committee. His professional interests lie in designing buildings with redu
 ced embodied carbon\, with a focus on refurbishment of existing structures
 .
