DESCRIPTION:Precision measurement of the flavour-changing neutral current
transition of a b-quark to an s-quark and two leptons (b->sll) have shown
some anomalous results compared to Standard Model predictions over the pas
t decade. These anomalous results have primarily been observed in decays t
o muons. The existence of a new physics amplitude can cause a sizable inte
rference effect and explain the observed anomalies. However\, interference
from underestimated hadronic effects also have the potential to explain t
he anomalies. In this talk\, I will introduce the different types of b->sl
l measurements with a focus on LHCb and how the results indicate the prese
nce of new physics. I will also provide detail on ongoing analyses which a
im to measure the new physics couplings while accounting for the interfere
 nce from hadronic effects.
