DESCRIPTION:Many equations\, such as arising in gravity waves\, are posed 
 on the real line and have oscillations near infinity\, which are exponenti
 ally small with respect to an asymptotic parameter. We explore the use of 
 modulated Fourier series and global spectral methods in solving such equat
 ions numerically\, and obtaining high-accuracy approximations to the oscil
 lations.
