DESCRIPTION:Organic semiconductors have been demonstrated to be attractive
materials in a range of emerging products including flexible displays\, t
ransparent solar cells\, biosensors and solar fuels. Understanding the im
pact of chemical design on the application properties\, is critical for fu
rther advances. We have explored a range of synthetic strategies and mole
cular concepts\, and measured a range of relevant morphological\, electric
al and optical properties in order to establish fundamental structure-prop
erty relationships. This presentation will illustrate some case study desi
gns and characterisation of semiconducting polymers\, in order to enhance
 their application properties.
