DESCRIPTION:Dario Farina is currently Full Professor and Chair in Neuroreh
 abilitation Engineering at the Department of Bioengineering of Imperial Co
 llege\, London\, UK. He has previously been Full Professor at Aalborg Univ
 ersity\, Aalborg\, Denmark (until 2010) and at the\n University Medical Ce
 nter Göttingen\,\n Georg-August University\, Germany where he founded and
  directed the Department of Neurorehabilitation Systems (2010-2016).\n\n\n
 \n\nAmong other awards\, he holds an Honorary Doctorate degree in Medicine
  from Aalborg\n University\, Denmark and has been the recipient of the IEE
 E Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Early Career Achievement Awa
 rd\, the Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award and the IEEE EMBS Tech
 nical Achievement Award.\n\n\n\n\nHis research focuses on biomedical signa
 l processing\, neurorehabilitation technology\n and neural control of move
 ment. Professor Farina has been the President of the International Society
  of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology (ISEK) (2012-2014) and is currently 
 Editor-in-Chief of the official Journal of this Society\, the Journal of E
 lectromyography\n and Kinesiology and an Editor for many other internation
 al journals\, including Science Advances and IEEE Transactions on Biomedic
 al Engineering.\n\n\n\n\nProfessor Farina has been elected Fellow IEEE\, A
 IMBE\, ISEK\, EAMBES\, AAIA and Sigman\n Xi.
