DESCRIPTION:In a first part\, I will explain how correlations of the disor
 der can have a strong impact on light propagation in complex media. As an 
 illustration\, the particular case of a hyperuniform disorder will be disc
 ussed by showing its interest for the transparency of a medium or on the c
 ontrary allowing to maximize its absorption. In a second part\, I will add
 ress the case of a disordered medium with a Chi2-type response and I will
