DESCRIPTION:The study of the interplay between galaxy angular momentum and
  structures in the cosmic web is a powerful tool to constrain galaxy evolu
 tion scenarios. Taking advantage of the Integral Field Spectroscopic SAMI 
 galaxy survey and the GAMA redshift survey\, I will present measurements o
 f the kinematic alignments of the galaxies’ spin axes with respect to ne
 arby cosmic filaments as a function of various galaxy properties. The mass
  of the bulge is the primary parameter in determining these spin-filament 
 alignment. I will discuss these findings in comparison to secular star for
 mation quenching and in terms of possible evolution pathways for galaxies.
