DESCRIPTION:Getting a product from a production-ready prototype to a salea
ble product and into the hands of the customer is a complex\, time-consumi
 ng\, and resource-intensive process. Unfortunately\, teams almost always u
 nderestimate the pain\, work\, time\, and resources involved and\, as a re
sult\, are understaffed\, miss deadlines\, and start selling product with
quality issues and higher costs than desired. There are only two certainti
es in product realization: there is more work than teams plan for\, and no
thing will be done right the first time. This talk will review best practi
ce tools and methods used across industries and company sizes.
