 he global pandemic started: Policies to Tackle the Cost of Living Crisis.*
 \n\nThe cost of living crisis\, referring to the fall in real disposable i
 ncomes\, has affected us all to varying degrees. Dysfunctionality in weste
 rn economies has led to a situation where wage and work are no longer suff
 icient for income adequacy\, and a new policy paradigm is needed to delive
 r adequate household income and reduce national debt.\n\nCTNTE speakers wi
 ll cover a range of topics\, including:\n* The macroeconomic implications 
 of basic income\n* The role of technology in reducing labour income\, lead
 ing to a macroeconomic case for a universal basic income\n* Funding basic 
 income by direct money financing\n* The links between wealth and income\, 
 and their implications for basic income\n* National solutions to spirallin
