DESCRIPTION:Oliver Bannard is currently Associate Professor and Wellcome S
 enior Research Fellow at The Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine\, 
 University of Oxford. Oliver completed his PhD investigating T cell memory
  formation with Professor Douglas Fearon in Cambridge\, and was later a po
 stdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Professor Jason Cyster at The Unive
 rsity of California San Francisco. The Bannard lab’s main focus is on un
 derstanding the biology of germinal centre responses. In this talk\, Olive
 r will present some of the lab’s most recent findings related to how B c
 ell clonal selection occurs and what controls GC B cell fate-decisions.
