DESCRIPTION:I will review the main properties of young superstar clusters
(SSCs)\nand then show that there are two different stationary hydrodynamic
\nsolutions for the matter re-inserted by the plethora of massive stars
that\, as they evolve\, undergo strong winds and eventually explode as su
pernovae.\nOne of the solutions is a full stationary wind. This has a stro
ng impact on the interstellar medium. I will show that the structure of G
iant HII regions and HII galaxies is caused by a\ndramatic competition be
tween the two negative feedback events: the mechanical energy and the UV i
onizing radiation arising from SSCs.\n\nThe second hydrodynamical solution
\, now called the bimodal solution\, is unavoidable for the more dense and
compact clusters. In these cases\, the cluster wind is\nmuch smaller tha
n what it has been predicted by synthesis models. The \nfact is that\nthe
densest central regions become strongly radiative\, what depletes \nrapi
dly their pressure\,\nmaking them unable to reach the required speeds to p
articipate in a \nwind.\nIn these cases the re-inserted matter accumulate
s within the cluster \nvolume\,\ncausing a positive star formation feedba
ck\, as gravity overcomes this matter\n\n
