DESCRIPTION:I will talk about the ExCALIBUR H&ES project benchmarking for 
 performance portable applications and demonstrate some envisioned use case
 s. Application benchmarking is a crucial activity in the path to Exascale.
  It ensures future systems are understood by the community so that science
  applications\, can take advantage of the opportunities at Exascale.\nBenc
 hmarking commonly requires manual work and relies on knowledge possessed b
 y a few individuals. We want to provide tools  to rigorously measure the p
 erformance of benchmarks in a systematic way to enhance the transparency a
 nd enable reproducibility.\nThe goal of this project is to provide the too
 ling to automate collecting and analysing benchmark data. It provides a fr
 amework for building and running benchmarks in diverse architectures and p
 ost-processing the results\, a community-driven collection of scientific b
 enchmarks\, as well as guidance for contributing benchmark applications an
