DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, I review second order generation of gravitation
al waves from first order density perturbations. The second order gravitat
ional waves could provide us valuable information on density perturbations
at very small scales where we do not have any direct way to measure densi
ty perturbations. We first discuss the second order tensor perturbations\n
during inflation and how they evolve in the radiation dominated era after
inflation. We carefully examine the gauge dependence of the tensor perturb
ations at second order. We also consider generation of second order tensor
perturbations in matter dominated era either in early universe after rehe
ating and in the late time universe.
