DESCRIPTION:We will overview a relation between a variety of quantum mecha
 nical integrable models and 4d N=1 SQFTs obtained by compactifications of 
 6d (1\,0) SCFTs. In particular we will discuss an algorithm to extract gro
 und state eigenfunctions of the integrable models from limits of the super
 symmetric indices of the 4d SQFTs. The integrable models will include\, am
 ong others\, the Ruijsenaars-Schneider model and the van Diejen model. The
  derivation of the eigenfunctions builds on physical inputs\, such as conj
 ectured Lagrangian across dimensions IR dualities and assumptions about th
 e behavior of the indices in the limit of compactifications on surfaces wi
 th large genus/number of punctures/flux. We will make some additional rema
 rks on mathematical properties of supersymmetric indices.
