DESCRIPTION:We consider the problems of tomography and integral geometry o
 f tensor fields in the plane. The representations of symmetric tensor fiel
 ds through potential that generates the field with usage of operators of d
 ifferentiation and symmetrization are obtained. We suggest a detailed clas
 sification of symmetric m-tensor fields. Also the kernels and images of th
 e operators of mixed and transverse ray transforms are described. The conn
 ections between ray transforms of the fields and Radon transforms of their
  potentials are established. We propose some approaches for reconstruction
