DESCRIPTION:Given a unitary fusion category\, its Drinfeld center is a mod
 ular tensor category. Modular tensor categories have associated numerical 
 invariants called modular data. Modular data capture a great deal of infor
 mation about the structure of the category\, and on the other hand are sub
 ject to strong combinatorial constraints. Evans and Gannon proposed using 
 the existence of potential modular data to predict the existence of certai
 n types of fusion categories. In this talk\, I'll report on some work-in-p
 rogress with Izumi on verifying certain variants of the Evans-Gannon conje
 ctures\; in particular\, we find (numerical\, so far) evidence of the exis
 tence of new fusion categories which realize certain modular data discover
 ed in previous joint work.
