DESCRIPTION:An integral geometry problem of reconstructing a potential par
 t of 3D symmetric tensor field is considered under the condition that valu
 es of the normal Radon transform are known. Properties of the normal Radon
  transform are investigated and a singular value decomposition of the oper
 ator is obtained. The orthogonal bases in original and image spaces are co
 nstructed using the Jacobi polynomials\, the Gegenbauer polynomials and th
 e spherical harmonics. Based on the decomposition the polynomial expressio
