DESCRIPTION:Based on the extremely deep MUSE observation on the Hubble Ult
ra Deep Field\, we map the emission from the intergalactic medium and the
circumgalactic medium at the physical scale from hundreds of kpc to around
10 kpc. We observe different physical processes occurring at different di
stances to the galaxies. In this talk I will report our key findings: (1)
Within 15 kpc\, we observe the anisotropic MgII emission around galaxies a
t z~1\, supporting a scenario of bi-polar galactic outflows. Our investiga
tion demonstrates the prevalence of this cool and metal-enriched outflow a
mong the population of massive galaxies. (2) For Lya emitters at z=3-4\, w
e observe an average blueshift of the Lya line from the galaxy center to a
pproximately 60 kpc. This provides evidence for the presence of large-scal
e gas inflows. We map the extended Lya emission out to approximately 270 k
pc. (3) Finally we try to reproduce the observed flux and kinematics of th
e Lya haloes through our simulations to gain further insights.\n
