DESCRIPTION:Mobile and digital healthcare sensing has evolved dramatically
  over the last decade. We are now experiencing a new change in physiologic
 al sensing paradigm where data collection is made ambiently without explic
 it user effort. This talk will introduce two examples of such systems\, wh
 ere accurate physiological signals captured in a non-intrusive manner. Spe
 cifically\, this talk will discuss HeartQuake and VitaMon\, which are embe
 dded and mobile sensing systems that capture physiological signals (e.g.\,
  ECG and HRV) of users in a non-intrusive and contactless way. Both of the
 se sensing systems shed light to new opportunities in capturing human phys
 iological data via a truly ubiquitous approach and can catalyze the develo
 pment of ambient healthcare systems.\n
