DESCRIPTION:Having been born in the era of TRACE and SOHO missions\, the d
 iagnostics of\nsolar coronal plasmas with magnetohydrodynamic waves and os
 cillations – the MHD\ncoronal seismology – has reached its maturity in t
 he Hinode and STEREO times.\nThe talk presents the current trends in MHD c
 oronal seismology\, including first\ndetection of kink oscillations in spe
 ctroscopic data\, and their first\nstereoscopic observation\, as well as r
 ecent achievements in the theory of solar\ncoronal waves and oscillations.
  In particular\, the possible excitation of\nstanding kink oscillations by
  Alfvenic vortex shedding in CME\nupflows is considered. Also\, the recent
  progress in the study of quasi-periodic\npulsations in solar flares with 
 RHESSI\, NoRH and CORONAS-F/SONG\, and their\npossible connection with MHD
  oscillations is discussed.
