DESCRIPTION:When crystallizing identical hard spheres\, densest packings a
 re naturally obtained. This talk investigates two related problems\, i.e. 
 the effect of (i) size-dispersity and (ii) confinement on the crystallizat
 ion of hard spheres. We observe complex structures and an intricate interp
 lay of entropy maximization\, densest packings\, and kinetics.
