DESCRIPTION:This meeting will highlight ideas that are in Cambridge labora
 tories today\, but which have the potential to change all our lives within
  10 to 15 years. Speakers include: \nDr Beatrix Schlarb-Ridley: 'Bringing 
 about a Green Revolution'\nBeatrix will summarise the cutting-edge researc
 h carried out by the Cambridge Bioenergy Initiative\, and will give an ove
 rview of how the InCrops Project can help businesses to access academic ex
 pertise for low-carbon innovation\, not only for Bioenergy\, but also for 
 a whole range of sectors.\n\nDr Paula Buttery: '21st century linguistics -
  integration with neuroscience and impact of social/economic development'\
 nThis talk will discuss the integration of linguistics into a broad spectr
 um of sectors. Paula will illustrate by describing two active university r
 esearch projects: the first involves the use of speech and language techno
 logy to aid analysis of neuro-imaging data\, furthering our understanding 
 of the brain\; the second will cover the impact of language learning appli
 cations on mobile devices in developing countries.\n\nProf Andy Woods: The
