DESCRIPTION:The Event Horizon Telescope will soon produce movies of the ac
 cretion flows in M87 and Sgr A.  Fluid models of these sources suggest tha
 t the movies will show spiral features with pattern speeds that are small 
 compared to the orbital speed of the emitting plasma.  I will describe the
  fluid model predictions\, a model of fluctuations in accretion flows base
 d on Gaussian random fields\, and the beginnings of a model that incorpora
 tes both dynamics and statistical features.
