DESCRIPTION:Despite Herculean efforts\, the Internet's communications infr
 astructure remains alarmingly vulnerable to attacks. In this talk\, I will
  exemplify the Internet's security holes through two prominent examples: I
 nternet routing and time synchronization. I will discuss what I view as th
 e main obstacles to progress on securing the Internet and how I believe th
