DESCRIPTION:We need to wake up in our software development: it can’t be 
 in a vacuum to our hardware choices. As transistor sizes are reaching a li
 mit\, innovation in compute has never been more exciting with the explosio
 n of different hardware paradigms. These unexplored computational avenues 
 give us freedom\, but also open up a plethora of potential innovative algo
 rithmic challenges\, with an exponential upside. In this seminar we'll loo
 k at the different hardware approaches currently being innovated and how i
 n the darkness\, theory doesn’t always match-up to reality.
