DESCRIPTION:The most famous no-go theorem is probably the impossibility of
squaring the circle\, the proof of which is based on an algebraic vs. tra
nscendental separation. In the talk\, I will discuss three quantum problem
s for which no-go theorems can be obtained based on the same simple idea.
We will look into quantum marginal problems\, quantum circuit complexity l
ower bounds\, and transcendental properties of entropy-constrained sets an
 d their implications.
