DESCRIPTION:Sr2RuO4 is a correlated-electron metal whose normal state is e
xtraordinarily well-characterised\, and yet the origin of its superconduct
ivity is not known. It is known to be unconventional\, and evidence is gro
wing that the symmetry of the order parameter is d-wave\, but the pairing
mechanism is a mystery. In this talk\, I will discuss three mysteries of t
he superconductivity of Sr2RuO4.\nDoes it break time reversal symmetry? It
has been thought for over 25 years that it does\, but it has been difficu
lt to obtain decisive proof.\nIs the gap structure simple or complicated?\
nWhy does uniaxial stress along two different axes\, both of which cause t
he Fermi-level density of states to increase\, have opposite effects?
