SUMMARY:Modelling and analysis of electrical circuits with memristors for
neuromorphic computing applications - Anne-Men Huijzer\, University of Gro
 ningen

DESCRIPTION:Motivated by neuromorphic computing applications\, in this tal
k we will study the behavior of nonlinear electrical circuits including me
mristors. Memristors\, originally introduced by L.O. Chua in 1971 are resi
stors with a memory storage. They can be characterized as a relation betwe
en electric charge and magnetic flux. In this talk\, we will develop a mat
hematical framework that can be used to show that the port behavior of a c
ircuit of memristors can be described by a single memristor\, and\, that m
oreover\, it can be used to show synchronisation in circuits comprising me
mristors and grounded capacitor.\n\nThe seminar will be held in LR5 (Baker
building)\, Department of Engineering\, and online (zoom): https://newnha
