DESCRIPTION:The kinetic wave equation arises in wave turbulence to describ
 e the Fourier spectrum of solutions to the cubic Schrödinger equation. We
  will consider the isotropic case which has similarities with the Boltzman
 n equation but has a cubic structures. Here I will introduce the known sta
 tionary states and the expected cascade behaviour. Finally\, I will presen
