DESCRIPTION:Transportation system is the key part of infrastructure for a 
 city towards sustainable development. Configuration of road network\, stru
 cture and material of pavement\, and policies of traffic management have g
 reat influence over efficiency of transportation system. New pavement tech
 nologies and traffic planning models have been developed to support the su
 stainable transportation system in China. Application samples are demonstr
 ated\, including scheme of traffic planning for 2010 Shanghai Expo.
