DESCRIPTION:Kinetically constrained models are systems where cooperative r
 elaxation emerges due to local constraints to the dynamics rather than que
 nched disorder\, an example being the East model which plays an important 
 role in theory of glasses. I will consider a circuit version\nof this mode
 l for which many aspects of the dynamics can be solved exactly. For the cl
 assical version\, I will show how to compute the statistics of dynamical f
 luctuations which realise a dynamical equivalent of the hydrophobic effect
  in water. For the quantum model\, I will show how to compute exactly the 
 dynamics of entanglement. I will\ndiscuss implications of these exact resu
 lts for constrained circuits more generally.
