SUMMARY:PUEO and Ultra High-Energy Neutrino Astronomy - Stefano Vergani (U
 CL)

DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, I will present the Ultra High-Energy (UHE) neut
rinos and their connection to multi-messenger astronomy. I will explain th
e main theories of the origin and formation of UHE neutrinos and cosmic ra
ys and introduce some of the most relevant experiments. The main technique
s to measure UHE neutrinos and cosmic rays in ice will be covered\, with a
strong focus on the Antarctic Transient Impulsive Antenna (ANITA) experim
ent. After going through the results from the four flights of ANITA\, I wi
ll introduce the plans for the new generation of ANITA\, the Payload for U
 ltrahigh Energy Observations (PUEO).
