DESCRIPTION:I will construct a one-to-one correspondence between states an
 d nonlocal operators\, valid for CFTs enjoying continuous higher-form symm
 etries. Focusing on four-dimensional Maxwell theory\, I will show that its
  higher-form symmetries get enhanced to an infinite dimensional symmetry a
 lgebra\, akin to the two-dimensional Kac-Moody algebras. This algebra orga
 nises\, in turn\, the spectrum of states and operators. As an implication 
 of that\, the states living on S¹×S² correspond to line operators\, pot
 entially decorated with local operators. I will briefly comment on other d
 imensions and other theories. This is based on work in progress with Diego
  Hofman.
