DESCRIPTION:In this talk Melanie will analyse how children were encouraged
  to become 'little geologists' in the nineteenth century: whether picking 
 up a pebble on the beach\, peering down a microscope at tiny fossils\, col
 lecting specimens for a rocky cabinet\, or marvelling at model monsters.\n
 \nAll are welcome\, refreshments will be provided.
