DESCRIPTION:The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation or
 ganisation that provides funds to local partner organisations overseas so 
 that they can\npurchase land for conservation. \n\nClaire Thompson\, a pre
 vious undergraduate from the Zoology Department\, will talk about the work
  of the WLT where she is currently undertaking an internship. \n\nThe pres
 entation will focus on how land purchase can be used successfully as a str
 ategy for conservation\, backed up with examples from the conservation wor
 k supported by the WLT.
