DESCRIPTION:Poor sleep\, sensory hyper-sensitivity and learning delays co-
occur in autism (and the general population). In my lab\, we aim to deline
ate causal mechanisms linking these phenotypic trats\, in development. I w
ill present findings from an infant sibling study (BASIS) that show early
emerging associations between neural measures of sensory processing and in
fant sleep and new findings from the Snoose study\, which uses polysomnogr
aphy (EEG) to investigate individual variation in how infant sleep adapts
 to environmental noise.
