DESCRIPTION:*Abstract*:\n\nIn this talk\, first some special challenges in
  cyber-physical energy systems will be reflected. Then\, examples from res
 earch projects and field tests will be discussed to show how multi-agent s
 ystems can be used to tackle these challenges. Finally\, the topic of rese
 arch data management and its role in open research will be discussed.\n\n*
 Bio*:\n\nProf. Dr. Ing. Astrid Nieße has been Professor for Digitalized E
 nergy Systems at the University of Oldenburg since 2020 and is a member of
  the Board of the OFFIS - Institute of Computer Science. From 2018 to 2020
  she was Professor for Energy Informatics at Leibniz University Hannover.\
 nAstrid Nieße received her doctorate from the University of Oldenburg in 
 2015\; her doctoral thesis dealt with the application of distributed algor
 ithms in the field of decentralized energy systems .\nAstrid Nieße studie
 d computer science and biology at the University of Bremen and at the Univ
 ersity of Oldenburg.
